Should I travel to Egypt or China this summer?

I was planning to go to China but with a time constraint of 2 weeks I think I can maybe get more dont in Egypt and save China for a longer vacation.

Depends how much you want to see, but if you want to comprehensively travel, i agree that 2 weeks in China is too little.

Come to China – it’s amazing and you’ll still get to see a lot in 2 weeks.
However, it will be hot and tourist sights will be crowded, but it is worth it!
Definite places to visit should be Shanghai (amazing city & history, world expo 2010); Beijing (great wall, forbidden city, summer palace etc…); Xian (terracotta army), Chengdu (pandas); Three Gorges Dam (although a boat trip is required and you don’t have a lot of time); Suzhou (ancient canals, gardens and water towns).
China is a fast developing country and things are changing very fast, but you can still witness life as it has taken place for hundreds of years – it is an incredible country!
Enjoy your holiday, wherever you decide to travel to!
